We take a science-first approach to develop the formulations and products that are not only consistent and predictable, but enable us to offer unique, safe and reliable experiences.
Our strength in science combined with our sophisticated manufacturing platform enables us to develop cannabis-derived products that deliver consistent, predictable and enjoyable experiences each and every time.
Cannabis
The cannabis plant is native to tropical climates but cultivated across the world. As a traditional homeopathic medicine, cannabis is employed for therapeutic, medicinal and recreational purposes. It is also an incredibly malleable substance that is adapted and utilized in various states of matter – such as leaves, flowers, oil extracts, edible butters and water solubles.
These different manifestations inspire the creative use of cannabis, through different approaches, gadgets and mechanisms. Smoke ingestion, vapor inhalation, digesting edibles and drinkable beverage infusions are all different ways to elevate your cannabis experience and enjoy the benefits of the plant.
Responsible cannabis use is beneficial in treating a spectrum of human needs. From insomnia, chronic pain and depression to simply enhancing pleasure, sensation, creativity and introspection.
Global attitudes and regulations of cannabis have shifted and opened up a wealth of innovation and possibility. We sit at this axis, offering a cutting-edge cannabis product that is both rigorously regulated and creatively innovative.
The Endocannabinoid System
Cannabis plants and humans share a chemical compound called cannabinoids. In humans, they’re called endocannabinoids, which determine when to get processes inside your body moving and when to stop. The endocannabinoid system is an important part of the daily health of your body—they help to maintain optimal balance, and affects many important functions such as how a person feels, moves, and reacts.
When cannabis is consumed, cannabinoids can interact with many elements located in the central nervous system, which is why it can produce changes to our cognitive and/or physical states. These effects are different for everyone, and can also depend on the type, quantity, and method of ingestion.

Liquid Solubles
Liquid solubles are developed by a process of nanoencapsulation, which increases the bioavailability of the cannabinoids.
Compared to traditional oil-based products, in this format, the body can more readily accept the cannabinoids. Liquid solubles are highly bioavailable – absorption in the body may be improved by 200 to 500%.
Unlike smoking and vaping, it can be healthy to digest the many fatty acids and compounds in the cannabis plant.
When cannabis is consumed in this format, the body breaks down THC into ‘11-Hydroxy THC’ via a process called ‘first pass metabolism’ that occurs in the liver. When smoking cannabis, the immediate high can be more intense, but when orally consuming cannabis, the effects can take longer and last longer because of the bioavailability of liquid soluble products.
Data and research suggests that humans can absorb close to 80% of THC when orally consumed in a water-soluble format, compared to non-water-soluble formulations, which suggest that humans can only absorb up to 5 to 10%. That means that the body will never use a staggering 80 to 95% of cannabis oil ingested.
Effects of water-soluble THC can be felt within 10 to 20 minutes of consumption, but results can vary from person to person. The resulting euphoric state typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes, but may last longer.
Liquid soluble cannabinoids can be uniformly added into a variety of beverages and edible products, and are tasteless and odourless. Our method of extraction allows for individual strains to be extracted naturally, and therefore, the "whole plant" can be included in the final product. Additionally, liquid soluble products contain a precise amount of bioactive cannabinoids – this will be identical in every product.
Bioavailability
Bioavailability is the percent of a product that has an active effect when consumed.
However, in most traditional oil-based capsules, the average bioavailability is less than 10%, which means that 90% or more of the product you consume is flushed from your body.
When you consume a cannabis product, it must be transferred from the place of ingestion into the bloodstream. From there, it reaches the cannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2) in our endocannabinoid system and other non-cannabinoid receptors like our serotonin receptor (5-HT1A). There are a few important points to be aware of:
- The way a cannabis product is consumed determines how long the effects will last
- The effectiveness of a product is determined by the total amount of a substance that was absorbed and used actively in the body, and is measured as a percentage
- The body’s receptors cannot decipher between cannabinoids, so THC and CBD are absorbed the same way and reach both CB1 and CB2 receptors – their bioavailability is the same
